On May 8, 2026, our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts student Mehmet Ali Yıldız won the gold medal in the individual dessert category with his dessert plate titled “Zeugma’nın Tacı” at the “Anadolu’nun Mirası Soframda / Anne Eli Themed Cooking Competition.

On May 4, 2026, we hosted Éclair Bakery pastry chef and our graduate student Ayşenur Kamalak in our Advanced Pastry Techniques course. Within the scope of the course, we carried out hands-on practices on sugar paste.
